Easy Breakfast For Your Guests

Quiche for Company

There is so much to do for guests coming in for the holidays.  The more you do ahead the better especially along the lines of feeding your peeps.  This breakfast can be made with little effort, 15 minutes of prep time, and make your guest feel like you really care.  If you make a pie crust days in advance (or even purchase one pre-made to save more time) all you do is pre-heat the oven to 375°, beat 6 eggs, and fold in these ingredients:  1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, ½ cup shredded jack cheese, 1 cup cooked broccoli florets (in a covered bowl with a splash of water steam in microwave for 3 minutes) well chopped or ½ cup frozen spinach thawed, two strips of bacon chopped in bits cooked with a small diced onion , salt, pepper, and ¼ tsp. garlic powder.  Pour everything into the unbaked pie-shell and bake for 30 minutes or until eggs are set. (knife inserted will come out clean and top will be slightly rounded)  Allow to cool slightly then pamper your guests with a satisfying breakfast of Quiche.  Makes 6 to 8 servings
